LadderTouch is a comprehensive app designed to facilitate the learning of ladder logic, a graphical programming language commonly used in industrial automation.

The app offers three main functions to enhance your understanding:

1. Explore Prepared Samples: By executing carefully prepared ladder logic samples, you can gain practical knowledge about this programming mechanism.
2. Test Your Understanding: Challenge yourself with interactive questions that enable you to assess your comprehension of ladder logic concepts.
3. Create and Execute Your Own Ladder: Take advantage of the app's capability to create and execute custom ladders. You can utilize ladder functions such as timers, counters, and logical inverses to build your unique programs.

The user interface is intuitively designed for ease of operation. With the ability to trace lines on the screen and add elements by tapping desired cells, LadderTouch simplifies the process of constructing ladder logic diagrams.

Available Elements

LadderTouch provides the following elements:

• Input (Yellow): This element allows control over the input signals. You can manage up to 5 input elements by tapping the buttons located at the bottom of the display.
• Virtual Output (Red): Similar to internal memory (gray) in terms of logical behavior, this element serves as the last element within the ladder logic chain. You can incorporate up to 5 virtual output elements in your program.
• Internal Memory (Gray): Also known as gray memory, this element is responsible for processing within the ladder logic chain. Like virtual output, you can include up to 20 internal memory elements in your design.
• Timer (Blue): With support for up to 5 timer elements, this functionality enables you to set timers ranging from 0.1 seconds to 10.0 seconds. Please note that this app does not include 'off delay' timers.
• Counter (Green): Incorporate up to 5 counter elements and set them between 1 and 50. Unlike some other ladder logic software, this app does not feature a counter reset element. To reset the counter, it is necessary to halt the ladder's execution.

While all elements can be inverted in the source area, please be aware that timers and counters cannot be inverted in the destination area. Understanding the inverse logic of timers and counters within the destination area may present challenges.

Edit and Manipulation Features

To fully utilize the editing capabilities of LadderTouch, upgrading to the paid version is required.

Add or Remove Elements:

• To add an element: Select the pencil icon, tap the desired location on the screen, and choose the specific element from the available options.
• To draw lines: Again, select the pencil icon, but this time draw lines where you wish to add them.

Delete Elements or Lines:

• To delete an element or line: Switch to the eraser icon and tap on the element or line you want to remove.

Scroll Functionality:

• To scroll within your ladder logic diagram: Choose the scroll icon, which grants you the ability to navigate through larger and more complex programs.

Remove Unnecessary Spaces:

• To remove useless spaces: Select the order icon, eliminating any unnecessary gaps in your ladder diagram with a simple tap.

Line Color Indicators:

• Green: Indicates a complete and valid ladder logic construction.
• Red: Highlights potential errors or issues within your ladder diagram that require attention.

Additional Considerations

LadderTouch does not offer any functionality to connect with external devices. Please be aware of this limitation while exploring the app's features and capabilities.
